All our lamps are handmade by experienced glassmasters on the Murano island in the Venetian lagoon. Each piece is unique with small variations in shape and color – a hallmark of genuine, mouth-blown Murano glass. Our archive/2nd sorting items are authentic Murano lamps with cosmetic imperfections – for example, one or more larger air bubbles in the glass than usual, a variation in appearance, or minor tool marks or scratches. These defects do not affect the lamp's function or durability. In return, we offer them at a reduced price, and you always have a 14-day return period on online orders. Murano is an island group in the Venetian Lagoon in Italy, world-renowned for its centuries-old glassblowing tradition. Since the 13th century, Murano's master glassblowers have perfected the art of shaping beautiful, colorful glass. Our lamps are handmade by these skilled artisans, and each piece is unique. Each Murano lamp is mouth-blown by experienced glassmasters on Murano island. The process begins by melting glass at over 1000°C, after which the glassblower shapes it using traditional techniques. Colors are added with minerals and metal oxides. No two lamps are exactly alike — that’s what makes them special. Read more about the production.

Most of our lamps use E27 sockets. The specific socket type is indicated on each product page. We recommend LED bulbs with warm light (2700K) to best highlight the beautiful Murano glass. Avoid bulbs with a higher wattage than recommended on the product page. See all our lamps.
