Vintage Italian Interior | Murano mirrors and specially selected furniture
Italian interior design is known for being elegant, luxurious, and classic. It is a style that has become popular worldwide because of its sophisticated design and fine craftsmanship.
What especially characterizes Italian interior design
One of the most notable features of Italian interior design is the use of classical elements that have been reinterpreted in modern design. This includes the use of beautiful marble surfaces, elegant stucco, and decadent furniture made from carefully selected materials. Italian interior design is also known for its strong focus on details.

The color palette in Italian interior design is typically simple and classic. It includes colors such as white, beige, black, and gray, which are perfect for creating a sense of calm and elegance in a room. However, you can also find colorful elements in Italian interior design, for example in the form of vibrant ceramics or glass.
Italian interior design is also known for a special sense of balance and proportion. Therefore, it is often a mix of modern and classic elements that are carefully selected to create a harmonious whole.
In short, Italian interior design is a style known for its elegance, fine craftsmanship, and attention to detail. It creates a sophisticated and luxurious space where you can relax and enjoy life.
Vintage Italian glass mirrors in beautiful shades
Many Italian vintage mirrors have an antique or vintage style, which means they have a patina or a slightly muted surface that gives the mirror an aged and authentic look. This can give the mirror a rustic or bohemian feel, which is popular in modern interior design.
Italian vintage mirrors are also known for their unique shapes and sizes, which can range from small and discreet to large and showy. They can be round, oval, square, or asymmetrical and are often decorated with carvings, inlaid glass, or fine wood details.
Italian vintage mirrors are a popular element in modern interior design because they add a sense of character and personality to any room. They can be a focal point but are especially useful for opening up a space. They are therefore ideal for a bathroom or an entryway.
At VETRO our journey began with a love of vintage Murano — for the unique colors, shapes, and traces of craftsmanship that only mouth-blown glass can have. For years we curated vintage lamps and glass objects while also working closely with Murano maestros to develop our own collection.
Today, VETRO's universe consists of our own handmade glass lamps, designed by us and produced in Italy in close collaboration with our glassblowers. Our lamps carry on the heritage of Murano, but are created with VETRO's own eye for color, proportions, and modern interiors.
