The craftsmanship behind the lamps
The production of the lamps takes place in small workshops on Murano, where experienced glass artisans work closely with our design team. Each lamp is shaped by hand through a meticulous process of blowing, forming, and cooling, where temperature and timing are crucial. The result is unique glass pieces with subtle variations that reflect the human craftsmanship behind every single piece.

Hver lampe er unik
The production begins with raw materials melted in furnaces at over 1,000 degrees, after which the hot glass mass is blown and shaped by hand. Using simple tools and precise movements, the distinctive forms and swirls that define the Vetri Murano series are created. Because each lamp is shaped manually, natural variations in pattern and form occur, making every lamp a unique piece of glasswork. Each lamp undergoes a slow cooling process that prevents stress in the glass and ensures durability. It’s a craft that demands both technical skill and a sharp eye for detail – mastered today by only a few true artisans.
